To Maintain the critical acidic urinary pH in all cats, which helps fight F.U.S. (Feline Urologic Syndrome), we located a selected, uniquely processed (very expensive) chicken meal that reduces the ash content while raising the levels of protein and fat. To help fight heart disease and blindness, we made sure there was an abundant amount of sulfonic acid, commonly known as Taurine, found naturally in fish, meat, and eggs. To insure the highest amounts of natural taurine possible, we chose to use menhaden fish meal along with our special chicken meal.
