Blackwood 4000 is engineered for Adult/Senior and Overweight dogs whose appetites exceed their energy requirements. Adult dogs over 6 years of age generally have lower levels of activity, thus requiring a low calorie diet, especially if spayed or neutered. Less active and senior dogs still require a complete and balanced diet with the proper levels of amino acids, vitamins, minerals and energy. BLACKWOOD accomplished this by moderately restricting the protein, sodium along with low fat while keeping poultry meal as the main ingredient. unlike some "lite" diets, this is a complete and balanced diet for your pet.
