Blackwood was acquired by Ohio Pet Foods, Inc., in early 2011. A third generation family-owned and operated business that’s made premium, super-premium and ultra-premium pet foods for more than 30 years, OPF had been manufacturing the Blackwood brand’s dry food recipes for 18 years prior to the acquisition.
